Your right to opt out
Residents of California and several other states have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information and of targeted advertising.
When you ask us to review your accident and connect you with an attorney, we share your information with participating law firms, which may pay us a marketing fee. Some state laws may treat this as a sale. We only share your information for this purpose when you submit our form and agree to be contacted.
How to opt out
- Go to our contact page.
- Choose the topic "Privacy request."
- Tell us you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and include the email address or phone number you used.
We will process your request as required by law. If you opt out after a referral has been made, we will stop future sharing and tell you how to contact any firm that already received your information.
Cookies and Global Privacy Control
Analytics cookies load only if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can decline them, or clear cookies and site data in your browser to choose again. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale/sharing through cookies for that browser.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request where the law allows. We may ask for proof of authorization and to verify your identity.
No discrimination
We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
